Watch out for those tagging #DPxLA on Instgram tonight (and those who were tagging last night from a pre Chateau Marmont dinner) for the unveiling festivites of the new David Lynch designed bottle for Dom Perignon.
The party itself will be an experiential evening “directed” (!!) by David and will include a labyrinth of spaces with the Lynchian touch.
I want to go to a party directed by David Lynch!! Right?
To make matters even more epic, The Kills will go on after the unveiling circa 10pm.
Anddddd … then a DJ set by Diplo (who DJed the opening of the new SBE spot Blok last night).
Here’s what David Lynch x Dom Pierre Pérignon both equal? Mystery, intensity, commitment, time, constant self-reinvention, faith in the power of creation.
David first shot bottles of Dom Pérignon and Dom Pérignon Rosé, and then taking inspiration from his photographs, gave them each a new look in a limited edition, and signed them himself.
“Dom Pérignon by David Lynch” takes the form of two gift boxes: one for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2003, the other for Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2000.
David Lynch creds:
Elephant Man (1980), Blue Velvet (1986), Wild at Heart (1990), Twin Peaks (1992), Lost Highway (1997) and Mulholland Drive (2001). Also: Musician, painter,
photographer, actor and art director, he is a multifaceted artist.
