From the first-ever Haunted Hotel at Ace Hotel Downtown LA, to annual fêtes like the Hollywood Roosevelt Halloween Party, to concerts from Queens Of The Stone Age on Halloween night, to Danny Elfman’s Music from the Movies of Tim Burton at the Nokia, to a Children’s Halloween Fest at Montage in Beverly Hills … And if you are looking for a restaurant and cant find a reservation, try going through our friends over at Table8 who have open tables at AOC, Alma, Bestia, Republique and Bazaar.
One must always know the right LA parking tricks if one is to successfully navigate 3 parties in a night in LA. Tommy Hilfiger tastefully reserved most of Robertson last night for towncars, limousines Escalades, Tahoes, and of course the trademark fleet of TH-branded Jeep Grand Wagoneers to transport guests to and from the launch of his new flagship store on Robertson Blvd.
We arrived just in time to question Nolan Ross (from Revenge) about Carrion, and chat with the Vanderpumps about Jiggy.
Many guests were coming from the Oz premiere in Hollywood (where James Franco arrived via hot air balloon), while others were scurrying up the street (just three short blocks) to Sir Philip Green’s dinner for Topshop at Cecconi’s.
No matter all that, everyone wound up at the Soho House in time for Tommy’s after party with Alicia Keys and a special surprise appearance from Guns N’ Roses (GnR moved on to play a private house party in Bel Air later) with the ticket for admission being the first-ever keeper of a wristband handed out at entrance of the Hilfiger Flagship Store on Robertson Blvd earlier in the night — the list ladies placed our us blue leather snap cuffs (think Hermes but blue) with a sweet little map to Soho House; all very tasteful.
Spotted at the new Hilfiger store and/or later on at Soho House: Drew Barrymore, Jessica Alba, Kristin Davis, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Ed Eastwick, Jennifer Lopez, the Fashion Police aka George Kotsiopoulos, and more.
Truffle notes: The top of the new Hilfiger store is shaped like the bottom of a preppy man’s boat.
